Cisco Networking Engineer
Course Aims and Objectives
Our Cisco training courses are designed to provide you with technical knowledge and skills required to administer Cisco networks to a professional level. We offer Cisco courses at the following three levels:
CCENT Training
The Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT) certification validates the skills required for entry-level network support positions, the starting point for many successful careers in networking. Candidates should have the knowledge and skills to install, operate and troubleshoot a small enterprise branch network, including basic network security. CCENT certification is the first step toward achieving CCNA, which covers medium size enterprise branch networks with more complex connections.
Exam: 640-822 ICND1
CCNA Training
The Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification validates the ability to install, configure, operate, & troubleshoot medium-sized routed & switched networks, including implementation & verification of connectors to remote sites in a WAN. The new curriculum includes basic mitigation of security threats, introduction to wireless networking concepts & terminology, and performance-based skills. The curriculum also includes (but is not limited to) the use of these protocols: IP, Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), Serial Line Interface Protocol Frame Relay, Routing Information Protocol Version 2 (RIPv2), VLANs, Ethernet, access control lists (ACLs).
Exam: 640-802 CCNA
CCNP Training
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification validates a network professional’s ability to install, configure and troubleshoot converged local and wide area networks. Network Professionals who achieve the CCNP have demonstrated the knowledge & skills required to manage the routers & switches that form the network core, as well as edge applications that integrate voice, wireless, & security into the network.
Exam: 642-901 BSCI Building Scalable Cisco Internetworks, 642-812 BCMSN Building Cisco multilayer Switched Networks, 642-825 ISCW Implementing Secure Converged Wide Area Networks and 642-845 ONT Optimising Converged Cisco Networks
