Adding to the CompTIA range of certifications the Network+ gives a good vendor neutral module examining network technologies and giving an introduction to networked systems.

Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)
This certification is aimed at people who want to administer Microsoft systems. It covers installing, configuring and troubleshooting the Windows Server operating system.

Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)
This certification is aimed at people who want to plan and install complex Microsoft systems. It covers designing active directory systems, implementing network infrastructure and setting up Exchange email servers.
